Mammoth Discovery Site
The Energy Loop Scenic Byway begins in Fairview and heads east up the canyon on Highway 31. The Byway crosses the Manti-LaSal National Forest and reaches an altitude of nearly 10,000 feet above sea level. At the top of Fairview Canyon, the Byway splits and descends both Huntington Canyon (Hwy 31) and Eccles Canyon (Hwy 264). Along the way you will view aspen and pine forests, mountain lakes and streams, wildlife, meadows, and active coal mining.

The Mormon Pioneer National Heritage Area begins in Fairview and heads south along Heritage Highway 89 to the Arizona state line. The heritage area highlights the cultural and architectural history of the Mormon Pioneers who came to Utah in 1847. The entire town of nearby Spring City is on the National Historic Registry.
